Seth Askvig
Seth Askvig is 23 years old. He was born and raised in the Skagit Flats of Western Washington. Seth was introduced to waterfowl hunting at the young age of 5 by his stepfather. Seth was immediately consumed by the sights, sounds and smells of a duckblind and has been hooked ever since. At the age of 10 he passed his Hunter Education Class and was given his first shotgun by his parents. That same season on opening day, he shot his first duck. Since then, he hasn't missed a season and enjoys introducing as many new people as possible.

During his High School years, he was on the Varsity Football, Wrestling and Baseball team and was a captain for 3 of the 4 years. Being involved in these activities, he made many close friends. His senior year he chose to pass on the football season and hunted waterfowl instead. He has always been known by fellow classmates and teammates as the "Hunting Freak" but to him it is just his way of life.

Seth's seasons seem like they never end. When he's not hunting, he's preparing for the upcoming season. In the off-season, he enjoys scouting, cleaning and rigging up decoys, practicing his calling, and going to sportsman shows. His desire to become a great caller started once he blew his first call. He has spent many hours in his bedroom as a teenager watching videos and practicing his calling.

Seth was introduced to Zink Calls at the Monroe Sportsman Show while talking to Alex Langbell about a guided hunt. He noticed the Zink Calls display and picked up a PH-1 for the first time. Apparently his practice was paying off because moments later he had a small crowd gathered round thinking that his calling was the highlight video that the guide had playing on the counter. Since then, he has made Zink Calls his "one and only" brand of calls. His favorite goose call is the LM-1. It's ease to blow and the ability to change pitch and speeds in an instant is what makes this his GO TO call.

Knowing that good calling is a key part of having a successful hunt, he enjoys spending time teaching, talking and learning from others about Zink Calls. Seth plans on sharing many experiences with friends, family, and fellow waterfowlers in the years to come.
