Oliver Cornet

Oliver Cornet is 17 years old and lives in Canton, Oh. He was introduced to hunting and the outdoors by his father at a very early age and has pursued them with a passion ever since. It wasn't until he was 10 that he was introduced to waterfowl hunting, and it has driven him from there on out. Oliver received his first Zink Call at a Greenwings banquet, a Cocobola SR-1, and thats when it started. He still today has that call on his lanyard.

During the summer months, Oliver trains his lab Cam, practices hitting notes with his Money Maker or PH-2, and works at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge in Port Clinton, Ohio. He has plans of becoming a Private Lands Biologist when he attends school. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited and hopes to work especially in the field of Wetlands Management in order to support and protect habitat for waterfowl and the hunters that pursue them.

For Oliver, Sept 1 is the word go. During the fall and winter months when he isn't studying, it is a given that Oliver is pursuing his love, waterfowl. He is fortunate enough to hunt with his father and younger brother Dave at the Toussaint duck club in Port Clinton. His favorite methods of hunting would be in standing corn for early season geese, but once the weather turns you can find him in his Power Hunter or Finisher working flocks of mallards and geese into his spread.

For Oliver, the two most exciting things about being in the field are watching his lab retrieve and calling in an animal that is an expert in its own language. Oliver finds that Zink Calls simply provide him with the very best calls to do that.
