Tony was born and raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and is currently employed by Union Pacific railroad, as a locomotive engineer. Tony has been working for Union Pacific for nine years.

Tony's favorite game to hunt is Canadian geese. Which Tony has been doing for eighteen years. Growing up in the panhandle of Nebraska, Tony was introduced to the outdoors as a child by his father. Tony has been waterfowl, deer, elk, upland, varmint hunting and trout, walleye fishing since the age of eight. Tony's area of expertise is in calling geese and decoy placement. Being able to work geese with comebacks , moans clucks and decoy placement to put geese in front of the pit. Within 10 to 30 yards is what Tony prides at.

Tony's, favorite method of hunting waterfowl, is hunting in a pit placed in a good food crop such as corn, bean, or winter wheat. This is where Tony has learned skills as decoy placement, flagging and calling. Duck hunting in a warm water slough or a blind on the North Platte river is a close second. Locating geese and finding places to hunt with lay down blinds is also fun for Tony.

Tony is new too the contest calling scene. In 2006 Tony made it to the final round in two man open goose and fourth in singles open goose at cabela's calling contest. Tony plans to return and also enter contests in Nebraska and Colorado. Tony has always promoted youth hunting, trying to give the experience to youth that Tony has enjoyed.

Tony does a few guided hunts a year, and is currently working on starting a outfitting business.

One of the fondest early hunting experiences for Tony is pheasant hunting. The early morning drive with his dad and three brothers to cornfields and tree rows always built energy and anticipation to see a rooster flush next to him. The first time Tony bagged his first Canada goose, the size of the bird was neat to see up close.

Tony's favorite regions to hunt is the panhandle of Nebraska. The migration pattern is strong with geese and ducks. There is also great hunting of big game and upland birds. The panhandle is part of the central flyway, and waterfowl hunting is widespread to outdoorsman.

Tony feels he can bring his skills and resources to the Zink staff. From local knowledge of store owners, and field contacts. Tony has passion and drive that is still growing for waterfowl hunting.
