Cliff Miller
My name is Cliff Miller. I was born and raised in west central Illinois. I grew up right in the middle of the Illinois and Mississippi river bottoms with my Mom, dad and younger brother.
Growing up in this area gave me the opportunity to experience the outdoors at a young age. I started fishing with my dad when I was very young. We spent a lot of time fishing for catfish along the Mississippi river. Cat fishing has become my favorite spring and summer hobby. The first form of hunting that I did was squirrel hunting with my dad and brother. I started deer hunting with a bow when I was twelve years old. That first year I did manage to shoot my first deer. It wasn't till I was sixteen that I started hunting waterfowl. I had wanted to try it for a long time but was never really introduced to it until then. The first bird that I ever shot was a big honker and my first duck was a wood duck drake that only had one leg.
Today I live in Adair Illinois which is just a short ways from the town I grew up in. I now live with my fiancé Rhianna. I work as a pipe fitter and am on the road a lot of the time. When not working I am usually chasing ducks and geese along the Mississippi and Illinois river bottoms and every where in-between. My favorite way to type of hunting is for big late season honkers over a hole in the ice. But shooting big northern greenheads in the flooded corn is a close second.
