T.J. Owens
T.J. Owens, 35, lives in York, PA with his wife Mary, and their two dogs Jessie, and Mason. T.J. grew up in North Irwin, a small town in the Western part of Pennsylvania. He was surrounded by the rich hunting heritage that PA has to offer. At age 12 he was able to get his first hunting license, and start to develop his love of the sport and the outdoors. It started off with chasing small game and whitetails and then at the age of 16 he heard his first gobble in the spring woods. That sound became something that would haunt him for life, and turn him from fur to feather. You can now find him in the spring woods in many states listening for that next gobble.

It wasn't until he moved to York and lived on the banks of the Susquehanna River that his interest in waterfowl began. Living on the river opened his eyes to all the different species of waterfowl. A few years later he went on his first goose hunt in the field. And from that day on it became his obsession. With this passion for waterfowl, now all he thinks about all year long is how he is going to get that next flock to commit to his spread with calling and decoy placement.

In 2006 T.J. was offered the chance to join the Avery Outdoors Pro-Staff Team. This was a dream come true for him. To be a part of a team who shares their time and experiences with others that enjoy the same passion. And now to have the chance to be a part of the Zink Call family is just the icing on the cake. He will now be sharing with others how to "Talk The Talk".
