Cody Bair
Cody has grown up in Shelley, Idaho, a large farming community on the Snake River in Eastern Idaho. Living on a small farm in Idaho, he has been around hunting his entire life. His first hunt was just after he turned twelve and received his hunting license.
He and his older brother walked about three miles from their house to a drain ditch that had about 150 ducks in it the night before. Cody had his old H&R 20 gauge and he knew he had only one shot. As the ducks got up he just shot at the main mass of birds and dropped his first mallard.
Cody has loved duck hunting ever since that time many years ago. Cody grew up hunting big game with his father and five brothers, but has been dedicated to waterfowl hunting for 13 years.
Since 2002, Cody has participated in many calling contests in the west. He participates in calling contests to practice and improve his calling ability, and to learn from other waterfowl hunters. He spends the spring and summer fishing for bass and trout on the Snake River. He also spends as much time as he can with his wife, Alyson and his new son Drayke. Cody works for Sportsman's Warehouse in Idaho Falls where he is the assistant hunting manager.
