Mike Bard
Mike Bard, age 31, currently resides in Jordan, NY with his wonderful wife, Christina, and their three children, Gabriella, Zachary and Jacquelyn. Mike works as a senior research associate for KS&R Inc. in Syracuse, NY. He earned his Masters degree in public administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School. After high school and while attending college, Mike served over eight years, as an officer, in the New York State Army National Guard's 1/108th Infantry Battalion.

At the age of 12, Mike started tagging along on deer hunts with his dad, Gary, and grandfather, Don. Both men have been instrumental and supportive over the years, in Mike's passion for the outdoors. It wasn't until high school that friends introduced him to waterfowling and since, waterfowl has been where it's at for Mike. Throughout high school, Mike spent his free time hunting wood duck and mallard holes with his friends. Over the years, he's traveled to several states to hunt a variety of waterfowl using about every possible method out there, but field hunting Canada geese and mallards has become what he enjoys most. He believes there is nothing better than fooling Canadas and getting them to land within feet of his blind.

Mike has been using Zink Calls for several years, learning to blow a short reed on the SR-1. He now finds the Zink Little Man to be his go to call in the field, as he loves its responsiveness and speed, not to mention the geese seem to like it too. When it comes to duck calling, he feels there is nothing more realistic sounding than the Zink Power Hen.

Mike brings over 15 years of waterfowling experience to Zink Calls. His passion of the outdoors and the desire to pass along that passion will be a valuable asset. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of waterfowling with others, as well as continually learning more. In addition to Zink Calls, Mike is also a member of Duck Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl and on the Avery Outdoors Pro-Staff.
