Dan Bump
Dan was born and raised in Parker, PA were he grew up hunting large tracts of state game lands with his dad for whitetails. He relocated to Corry, Pa in 2002 were he met his lovely and understanding wife, Amanda, and stepson Tyler. Living close to the NY border has allowed him great opportunities to chase waterfowl and turkeys in both states frequently. Long seasons and liberal bag limits give him time so spend close to 100 days a year hunting waterfowl in the neighboring states. Along with hunting farm lands for geese he also loves to hunt divers in the big water from a layout boat. When not chasing waterfowl, Dan spends his time bowhunting, and chasing elk in the Rocky mountains, and Antelope in the west. Dan has also taken several bears in PA as well as Canada. Dan says his true passion is chasing wild turkeys all over the us, and has hunted turkeys in PA, NY, MT, and Al, and is currently in pursuit if his Grand Slam. Turkey hunting ,along with waterfowl, is what drew him to the Zink staff. Excited about working for Zink, Dan has been turkey calling in competitions over the past couple years and has several top 5 finishes, including several 2nd place finishes at the amateur division. He is also excited about the predator line of calls and is looking forward to chasing coyotes and bobcats in Colorado and across PA and NY.

Dan enjoys introducing new people to all kinds of hunting, and has guided many people to their first turkey kills and goose limits. He is a sponsor member of the NWTF, as well as a member of Ducks Unlimited, the NRA, and was recently chosen to be part of the Pa NWTF's long term turkey research Co-op team. Dan is also a Licensed NY state hunting Guide. Some other hobbies include spending time with family and friends and working out at the local YMCA.
