Tony Caggiano, was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. While few hunters would ever realize it, he was exposed to tens of thousands of waterfowl during the migration each year.

Having grown up on the shores of the Long Island Sound in the seventies he would witness Broadbill, in record numbers, flying in huge swarms, just outside his door. After high school he moved with his family north to Westchester County and it was there, in the suburbs, that his childhood fascination with waterfowl lead him to hunting.

Although the regular seasons on Canada Geese were closed at the time, there were local resident geese by the thousands to be hunted on the surrounding farms and golf courses.

Since those earlier days, Tony's passion for hunting has evolved into a full time career. Nowadays, he is the a Hunting Guide and Shooting Instructor in Millbrook, New York, where he lives with his wife, Charlene and his young son, Jordan.

Tony spends his days pursuing everything from turkeys to ducks and geese as well as hunting upland birds with his Springer and Boykin Spaniels. But his passion remains with chasing Long beards all Spring and field hunting for BIG Northeast Honkers all Fall. When he is not doing that, he can be found on the legendary salt marshes of Long Island's Great South Bay.

While Tony has traveled from Northern Canada south to Argentina and all the way to Africa in search of waterfowl of all types, his heart is still at home in the marshes and fields of the East Coast.

In the off-season, Tony spends his days carving decoys, training his hunting dogs and practicing his Goose and Turkey calling. He has recently begun competing in calling contests earlier this year.

A long time member of DU, Delta Waterfowl, Waterfowl USA and the NWTF, Tony has done much in the way of volunteer work to foster and perpetuate waterfowl hunting. He hopes that this love of waterfowling and turkey hunting will help make him a valued part of the ZINK CALLS Family for years to come.
