My name is Jesse James Martin aka "Smoler" I'm 27 years old and I live in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. I started turkey hunting when I was tweleve years old and have had the fever ever since. I remember sitting in the woods and wishing I could sound just like the hens that I was always hearing. So I was bound and determined to be a better caller. The turkey vocabulary has always amazed me and that led to me to my first calling contest at the age of sixteen. It was a small contest just outside of town. so I entered the Jakes Division and won. From then on I was hooked, and still am today.

Deer hunting is a huge part of my life as well. Chasing whitetails in the fall months of the year with my bow is something I love to do and will never get tired of.

I joined the Zink crew in 2009 and couldn't think of being anywhere else. They are ate up it... just as much as me.
