Chad Belding
Chad Belding was born on October 21, 1974 in Reno, Nevada. It was very early in his life when his father Orville introduced him to the outdoors. He remembers following his dad up mountains to chase mule deer, antelope, coyotes or anything else Nevada had to offer. Although he loved the chance to hold a big game animal I his cross hairs, it was not until 1997 that he found his calling in the hunting world. Chad went on his first duck hunt that year and nothing has been the same since. He has been in love with the sport and everything that it involves. Whether it is the scouting, setting up, calling, watching the birds work, or finishing them in the decoys Chad truly enjoys every aspect of this game. Chad also traveled the country on the goose calling contest trail and had good success with the Zink SR-1.

Chad currently resides in Sparks, Nevada where he co-owns businesses and restaurants.His professional life has given him the ability to keep his fall schedule open. He also works full time for Avery Outdoors in Western Promotions and Marketing. Chad feels that his involvements with Avery Outdoors and Zink Calls has given him the opportunity to meet new friends, visit unbelievable places, and hunt all over the world. Chad has been involved in the Zink Calls 24-7 waterfowl video series since 2004 and is currently working on the new predator video, Devil Dogs with team Zink. He loves calling coyotes and has been lucky enough to help in the design of the new Zink predator call line. The video adventures have taken Chad to Nevada, Oregon, Montana, California, Washington, Iowa, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Mexico, and Canada. He loves having the chance to hunt in these different areas and has made many memories in each of them.

Chad married his beautiful wife Melanie in May of 2007 and they have a great life together. They love to travel with each other to Italy and enjoy spending a lot of their time with family and friends. Chad has been fortunate to have a great family and dedicates his hunts to his late father, Orville Belding.

Currently, Chad is involved with a new television show, The Fowl Life with Chad Belding. The show will involve many of Chad's friends in the field as well as many Avery and Zink team members. Filming will begin in the fall of 2008 and air in March of 2009. Chad looks forward to many more days in the field with the Z-Unit and can not wait to meet you down the road.
